RELIFE TORINO

RELIFE TORINO

Relife Torino is the new student apartment complex created by transforming the former Lavazza factory

MuseoTorino: the virtual museum of Turin, which we had already visited talking about Bicerin, tells about Lavazza in Corso Novara in Turin from 1965 until 2017.

Then in June 2018, the Lavazza Nuvola is presented.

Inaugurated last week, Relife Torino is therefore a so-called redevelopment project curated by Turin architect Stefano Seita and studio Lombardini22 on behalf of a Swiss company: RELIFE Nation.

Relife bases its concept on the social economy through the RELIFE Foundation which has the ambition to contribute concretely to the improvement of society by ‘creating a bridge between the academic world and the third sector.’

The presentation campaign was curated by FUD Design, brand of Lombardini22.

It all sounds very nice.

But there is no shortage of controversy: the flats are rather expensive and certainly not affordable for all students.

The message was sent back to the sender again in the form of writing on the walls.

In your opinion, can we really talk about a better society if it is expensive?

While you tell me your student experience, shall we have a Lavazza this time?

EVIDENCE

EVIDENCE

Evidence means the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid.

Evidence is an audiovisual montage that crosses the work of Arthur Rimbaud, Antonin Artaud and René Daumal in their journeys to new horizons.

Stimulated by these metaphysical journeys, the music and sound composition of Perfect Vision is the starting point for this new multidisciplinary exhibition, collectively designed by Soundwalk Collective and Patti Smith for the Centre Pompidou.

Have you ever visited the Centre Pompidou?

According to this video, tourists don’t know about it …

Undoubtedly a nice way to promote yourself, anyway I guess if I agree.

I’ve been there every time I’ve been lucky enough to visit Paris, and I find it hard to believe that tourists ignore it.

Of course the gimmick of the QR code embedded is rather ingenious, or is it?

Especially when I think that we visited Paris following complimentary hotel maps with all the Metro lines … yes, it was just that couple of years and technological eras ago … 🙂

Incidentally, “chatting” through the comments with Olivia, I was just remembering our attempts to ask for coffee by repeating serré over and over again in the vain hope of drinking it as short as possible …

Also pictured is Patti Smith, portrayed by Annie Leibovitz, having coffee at Café de Flore, in Paris

Patti said in an interview that Evidence is about travel.

Smiling, I think of the Pompidou Center’s gadgets: inspired by the classic souvenirs commonly considered as a “proof” of travel to be carried as a souvenir to display at home, or as a thought for friends and acquaintances.

So what is the proof, that is, the gadget you purchased during one of your trips that you particularly cherish?

SMART CITY

SMART CITY

Smart City is a definition that recurs more and more often now.

Smart City is one of the main themes of civics hours in school.

But specifically how do you experience what smart offers in your city?

In your experience, can you tell of an actual improvement in the quality of your life, or is it all still ephemeral in your neck of the woods for now?

In the image I wanted to finally “offer” you a coffee in Piazza Ducale.

But the city of Vigevano offers many other experiences, including virtual ones.

On the City’s website you can check out a Vigevano Smart City dashboard with some options among which I would like to point out the live webcam

And when you decide to come and visit our ducal living room, you will have at your disposal these directions that offer the possibility of more information via QR code.

In the same vein, a “digital” bench was inaugurated.

Red, as red is the symbolic color against violence against women

The problem is that hand in hand should also be converted the education of citizens, who too often prove to be the exact opposite of smart.

A marker mark was enough to make the QR code illegible.

This tiny stroke actually emblematically represents a great trait that sets us apart, and likewise reveals the weakness on which what should be the future rests ….
