Again I am extremely grateful to my Jaya author of the blog Nin Chronicles but above all author of wonderful poems that have the power to create magical atmospheres, emotions and sensations.

I take this opportunity to talk a little more about myself.

Jaya’s Questions:

  • What is your favorite song and why?

Come as you are. Nirvana.
I love everything about it. It was love at the first listen: the sound, the basic but primary meaning, the music, the way of singing.

  • Do you love to cook? I mean, do you LOVE to cook?

No, I don’t really love cooking, even if when I cook I try to do my best.

  • What motivates you?

My first and top important motivator is my husband Massimo.

  • How do you make peace with writer’s block?

Through rock music and local landscapes.

  • What is your favorite snack and why?

Bounty because I like both chocolate and coconut.

  • What do you think about the state of the world?

Extreme sadness.

  • Where do you want to take your writing/blogging?

Towards people. I like knowing people and learning about and from them.

  • Who is your favorite cartoon character?

Wile E Coyote.

  • How do you practice self-care?

Ehm … backup question?

  • Sweet or unsweet coffee/tea?

Voglio davvero ringraziare calorosamente Carita Klute per i suoi complimenti e per l’immenso regalo che mi fa scrivendo nei commenti che tornerà a visitare il blog.
Sono felice Carita, sei la benvenuta.
E in questi giorni in cui i caffè fuori casa sono preclusi per causa di forza maggiore, vorrei cogliere lo spunto per estendere il benvenuto a chiunque voglia trascorrere tre minuti qua.
L’intento è questo fin dall’inizio, un caffè insieme per parlare di qualsiasi cosa, che tu Carita, o chiunque altro vorrete anche eventualmente proporre.
In generale l’aforisma di Ralph Waldo Emerson esprime in poche parole ciò che vorrei dire e mi è piaciuto come titolo, anche se ora come ora è un po’ difficile parlare di felicità.
Dunque vorrei magari utilizzare il concetto di SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE dei R.E.M.
Hai mai visto il video? Persone che ballano cantano spensierate, una melodia gioiosa che coinvolge e trascina. Un pochino forse come i flash mob che si stanno moltiplicando di balcone in balcone.
Lo stesso Michael Stipe ha definito questa canzone una “bubblegum song” perché gli consente di mostrare il suo lato giocoso.
Eppure rimane il retroscena, mai chiarito, nonostante alcune interpretazioni sia sul contesto storico sia in senso più generale, che però non sono mai state confermate.
Mai come in questo caso usare l’espressione retroscena diventa letterale: perché proprio dietro a questo fondale colorato che raffigura disegni che riconducono alla visione fanciullesca, c’è un signore anziano che a fatica pedala.
(E che tra l’altro beve un caffè  prima di iniziare wink n.d.r.)
Lui non partecipa all’allegria nemmeno verso la fine, quando compare mentre osserva le persone.
