HEART THE LOVER

Heart the lover published by Fazi Editore, is Lily King’s latest book.

The first sentence in her bio on the official website reads: Lily King is the award-winning author of six novels.

Do you know any of them?

I have to admit: of all the books Monica gave me, this one caught my eye, guess why 🙂 😉

It’s no coincidence that the saying “never judge a book by its cover” warns us…

I was drawn in by the image: the cup!

But the book itself didn’t win me over quite as convincingly.

Life isn’t a novel, but the lives recounted in the book didn’t resonate with me, and the underlying feeling remained: a collection of elements chosen almost by topic.

Tatiana from Cucina in controluce also read Heart the lover; you can find her review here.

As for me, I can file this away as a classic case of clickbait 🙂

Have you ever been hooked by an image, a phrase, or—why not—a song?
