Il primo caffè della giornata … potevo non leggerlo?
In effetti no, e per questo mio marito ha pensato di regalarmelo.

Il primo caffè della giornata è il nuovo libro di Toshikazu Kawaguchi 川口俊和 edito da Garzanti.

Io sono rimasta molto colpita scoprendo come Toshikazu Kawaguchi qui in Italia si sia affermato grazie al passaparola che si è scatenato a partire da marzo 2020, quando il suo libro Finché il caffè è caldo ha esordito finendo nella classifica dei bestseller nel giro di una settimana.

a Marzo 2012 riceve il Gran Premio del Suginami Theatre Festival per lo stage “Before the Coffee Gets Cold”

a Dicembre 2015 pubblica il romanzo “Before the Coffee Gets Cold”

ad Aprile 2017 riceve la nomination Gran Premio Libreria

a Settembre 2018 vede la sua opera approdare al cinema con un adattamento di “Before the Coffee Gets Cold” con Kasumi Arimura

a Febbraio 2019 supera le 100.000 copie di “In front of cold weather” a Taiwan

a Febbraio 2020 la versione UK di “Before the coffee gets cold” è decima nella classifica di Bookseller

a Marzo 2020 la versione britannica vince il primo posto nei libri letterari più venduti a Singapore

fino a Maggio 2020: la sua biografia cita un 3° posto come romanzo tradotto in Italia nella classifica del Corriere della Sera che non sono riuscita a recuperare

a gennaio 2021 arriva in libreria Basta un caffè per essere felici

nell’autunno 2021 nasce il progetto di una serie TV prodotta da SK Global e sviluppata da The Jackal Group.

e a gennaio 2022: viene pubblicato Il primo caffè della giornata.

Non voglio anticipare il punto focale di questi caffè e nemmeno cosa accade finché il caffè è caldo, in caso tu non conosca ancora la storia, ma sicuramente l’idea di questi incontri speciali di fronte ad una tazza di caffè è il concetto cardine anche qui sul blog.

Purtroppo senza la magia e la delicatezza giapponese, e con tempi di raffreddamento ben diversi, però con altrettanto intento di provare, modestissimamente, a regalare piccoli viaggi.

WHY I STARTED MY BLOG:
well, simply because who loves me encouraged me to fight my fear and not to be ashamed of sharing what I always loved: writing.
Also considering that I like socializing since ages ago when the only way was through paper letters by mail …

TWO PIECES OF ADVICES FOR NEW BLOGGERS:
to tell the truth I don’t think to be able to give advices, but maybe, if you allow me, I can tell that on my opinion the most important thing is be yourself.
No matter if you aren’t perfect.
No matter if you have faults: flaws are the features that make you different from others.
Because no one else is like you.
